Ms. Brauns is a sales, marketing and media executive with more than 30 years of business experience. She founded Mile High Dog magazine in 2007 where she was editor-in-chief and vice president of sales and marketing. With extensive knowledge of canine health and wellness, and a life-long passion for animal welfare, Ms. Brauns joined Canine Biologics to help improve the lives of dogs fighting cancer. Prior to working in the pet industry, she held executive sales and marketing positions in the real estate and high-tech industries.

Dr. David Haworth is the president and co-founder of Vidium Animal Health. David’s 20+ years in the animal health industry include being president of PetSmart Charities in the US and Canada, and before that the CEO of Morris Animal Foundation. He spent time as a Director of Global Alliances and a Director of Research and Development at Pfizer Animal Health (now Zoetis). He holds DVM and PhD degrees from Colorado State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Colorado State University’s Flint Cancer Center. David’s Labrador Retriever, Bridger is a cancer survivor and enjoys swimming, chasing birds, barking at the mailman and long walks with his dad.

Charles has nearly two decades of investment and operating experience at the intersection of Consumer, Healthcare and Impact for leading private firms, including more than a decade in Petcare. In nearly a decade at Mars, Inc., Charles’ team helped transform their portfolio from $33B/Sales & $100B EV legacy food company into a $45B/Sales & $180B EV vertically integrated pet healthcare company through a combination of organic growth and >$15B in acquisitions. Mars grew 10X faster than Nestle during his tenure. His team incubated Mars’ CVC arm, Digitalis Ventures, built a global research network, and spun out nutrition startups Matatu, Digestiva and one.bio (f/k/a BCD Biosciences). He backed the world’s first early disease prediction AI for pets (AnTech’s RenalTech™), which predicts chronic kidney disease >2 years in advance of onset with >95% sensitivity & specificity and increased food sales 8X, therapeutic sales 2X, & increased vet visits by 31% in cases of positive tests.
Mr. Tapp holds a BA in Economics from Appalachian State University, studied under Nobel Laureates as an H.B. Earhart Doctoral Fellow in Economics at George Mason University and has done executive programs at the University of California (Berkeley) and University of Cambridge. Charles is a committed husband, father of four humans and Zoe, a Colorado Mountain Dog. He has lost two Labrador Retrievers (Lucy, Ruger) to hemangiosarcoma within 24 hours of diagnosis, and is deeply committed to Canine Biologics’ mission.

Mr. Bennett holds a B.A. in Economics and an MBA, both from the University of Michigan. He has resided and worked in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
An expert in designing and implementing data-driven marketing planning systems, decision automation and predictive analytics, Tim helps companies make the shift to less costly and more effective new marketing technologies and to reliable measurement of marketing ROI that will increase the accountability of marketing staffs and align their efforts with the company's strategy.
Tim served as General Director - Brand Strategy and Research for General Motors for seven years where he guided the global decision-making of GM's most senior leaders regarding brand portfolio management, including market entry planning, divestitures and capital planning.

Dr. Korinn Saker is an associate professor of clinical nutrition at the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Nutrition. She obtained her DVM from the University of Georgia, Athens and her PhD in Veterinary Medical Sciences from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Her research interests include nutritional support interventions for cancer and obesity as well as critical care nutrition including nutrients as related to oxidative stress disease. Research that she has been involved in has been published in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Molecular Biology, Clinician’s Brief, Today’s Veterinary Practice, American Journal of Veterinary Research, and Veterinary Therapeutics among others. Dr Saker helped formulate Canine Biologics' enteral nutrition product and provided nutritional parameters used for development of the NutriDapt software.
